Y’all, this book was spicy AF 🌶🔥🥵. By far the steamiest book I’ve read. I’m pretty sure Adrian had a hard on in every chapter! Not kidding. If you’re a fan of Sarah J Maas and ACOMAF was your fave, then you’ll definitely love this one!

So many great characters in this one! Minor spoiler alert up ahead..

ISOLDE

She was definitely badass and one I’d want as my bestie! She was sassy, fierce and could fight like no one’s business. I loved her!!

ADRIAN

My new book bf! He was absolutely delicious..

I was totally picturing Alexander Skarsgard or Henry Cavill in my head!

Omg, I loved him so much! Another one I’d want as my bestie. Loved that he was a shapeshifter. Certainly one of the coolest side characters.

KILLIAN

Ok. I seriously hated this guy at first and felt like punching him. But near the end, I kinda liked him and hope it’ll stay that way in book 2. I wanna see good things for him and hope he’ll join team vampire! Maybe even take an interest in Ana Marie.

I was so waiting for the other shoe to drop with this guy. I just didn’t know when or what it was gonna be. But I felt it coming for sure.

Don’t you just love a great villainess?!! I know I do, and she was a really good one! Think Evil Queen from Snow White or Maleficent.

I buddy read this with my friend Rach @ bornabooklover and so glad we squeezed it in last minute, right before 2021 ended. It was such a great way to kick start 2022! It’s only been a few days since I finished and I’m missing Revekka and Adrian already!!

I can’t wait till book 2 comes out! I hope it’s this year!! Will definitely be rereading King Of Battle & Blood again when it does.
