I wanted to try something different. The last month was an epic fail in terms of sticking to my TBR choices. But I like to be positive! After all, it’s almost a new year which calls for a new plan!
I’ve decided to start a book jar to help me choose my next read..
Genre: Middle Grade
My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2
Kinder than is necessary. Because it’s not enough to be kind. One should be kinder than needed.

The words that come to mind when describing this book is: Inspiring & emotional.
This book broke my heart in so many ways, but in a good way! You can’t help but love Auggie. ❤
The Characters..
This story has multiple POV’s, but is mainly told through August’s eyes. I loved reading what was going through some of the characters’ minds and their feelings towards Auggie.
I really hated Julian. I seriously wanted to beat the crap outta him! His parents pissed me off too! It was the prime example of how fake and awful people can be.
Aside from Auggie, I loved Summer. She didn’t care what people thought and her intentions were genuine (a rare trait).
I highly recommend reading this one if you haven’t already!

Have you read it? Seen the movie? What did you think?
I LOVE this book. I think everyone should read it, especially its intended middle grade audience. I have seen the movie, and it’s definitely worth watching (after reading the book, of course).

I want to see the movie, but thought I should read the book first since it’s been sitting on my shelf since summer 😜 I agree. It’s a book that everyone should read and definitely should be added to the school curriculum ❤💖
